An afternoon daze awaited the six students who dared to brace the unfiltered rays of an omnipresent sun. Clothed in as little fabric as socially possible to escape the heat and hopes higher than the trees themselves, the team met up in the APES garden. In front of them lay an array of tools that was a result of a brusque search from garages, miscellaneous locations on campus, and, of course, the prized collection of "mother's gardening supplies". With a wagon with more flat tires than functional, an uneven amount of shovels and hand hoes, and 3 spider-littered watering cans, it was safe to say that hope was all we had. Or, at least, that's what we thought. When I said spider-littered watering cans, I wasn't kidding. Upon filling up one of the watering cans we were greeted with a warm welcome of none other than the notorious Black widow. No, not the Avenger (although that would be amazing), but yes the venomous, and extremely real, counterpart to Natasha Romanoff's fantastical legacy. It was, with little surprise, a big surprise to us. Who would've known that such an entity would live on our campus? Unfortunately, most of us had arachnophobia. Fortunately, Chan didn't (or at least not as badly as the rest of us did). With a gallant flick- of- the- wrist with his steel companion of a hand hoe, Chan knocked off the Black Widow from its death grip on the watering can. Stunned from the impact, the spider laid motionless on the concrete until Chan was able to administer the final blow. Who said all heroes wear capes, amiright? Needless to say that after this emotional roller coaster we were able to finish the following sections: Library, PAC, Rally Court. Here's some pictures featuring the following areas!
